Kiviza 2000 mg Injection is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It works by blocking an enzyme (beta lactamase) produced by bacteria to inactivate antibiotics. This reduces resistance and enhances the activity of antibiotics against bacteria.

- It is preferentially given as an injection directly into a vein or into a muscle but tablet form is also available.
- Tell the doctor if you have diabetes and regularly check your urine for sugar level; ampicillin and sulbactam may cause false positive results.
- Do not start or continue the sulbactam and consult your doctor: If you have asthma, runny nose due to allergy (hay fever), or kidney or gastrointestinal disease especially inflammation of large intestine (colitis), If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding or become pregnant while taking ampicillin and sulbactam.

Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
It is not known whether Kiviza 2000 mg Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

u shouldn't take antibiotics without prescription, for simple cold n cough take syp corex-Dx 1 tsf tid, for cold DO STEAM INHALAION TWICE DAILY, WARM SALINE GARGLES, AVOID EXPOSURE TO COLD,TAKE REST tab levocet 1 tab bd for 5 days, take healthy diet to boost ur immunity comprising of proteins, vitamins particularly vit C, take plenty of fluids if not better in 3 days consult physician hope this helps, antibiotics are reserved only for bacterial infections , most cold like illnesses are viral so no need of antibiotics
