Uses of Inmecin Tablet
Inmecin 25 mg Tablet is used in pain relief. It relieves pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, gout, muscle pain and painful periods.

How to use Inmecin Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Inmecin 25 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Inmecin Tablet works
Inmecin 25 mg Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

CAUTION
Taking indomethacin with alcohol can increase the risk of stomach bleeding.
Pregnancy

Inmecin 25 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
SAFE
Inmecin 25 mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Driving
Inmecin 25 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney
SAFE
Inmecin 25 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Inmecin 25 mg Tablet is recommended.
However, a regular monitoring of kidney function test and potassium levels is advised while you are taking this medicine. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Inmecin 25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Inmecin 25 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
