Iba 150 mg Tablet


Introduction of Iba Tablet

Iba 150 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of osteoporosis. It makes the bones stronger and lowers the risk of fractures. It treats osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and reduces the risk of fractures in men.

Iba 150 mg Tablet should be taken in an empty stomach. Swallow it as a whole, do not crush or break it. Use it regularly and at the same time of each day to get the most benefit from the medicine. Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor.

Using of Iba 150 mg Tablet may cause few side effects such as headache, indigestion, heartburn, diarrhea and pain in the joints, bone or muscle. It may decrease the amount of calcium in your body. Take calcium-rich food in your diet and have regular blood tests to monitor the level of calcium in your blood. If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or have kidney disease, inform your doctor before taking the medicine.

How to use Iba Tablet

How Iba Tablet works

Iba 150 mg Tablet is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bones and minimizes the risk of fractures.

Iba Tablet related warnings

Consuming alcohol with Iba 150 mg Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
Iba 150 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Iba 150 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Iba 150 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Iba 150 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Iba 150 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
No dose adjustment is recommended for patients with mild or moderate renal impairment.
Iba 150 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Iba 150 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Iba Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Iba 150 mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
