Gerbisa Suppository

Gerbisa Suppository is used in the back passage (rectum) and must not be taken by mouth. Use this medicine at bedtime in a dose as advised by your doctor. This medicine, when used with some lifestyle modifications like eating a fiber-rich diet, increased fluid intake, and regular exercise, can help you get better results.

This medicine may cause side effects like abdominal cramps or pain, diarrhea, and rectal irritation or inflammation. These effects are usually temporary and resolve on their own. However, if you experience any severe or persistent symptoms, consult your doctor.

Remember to inform the doctor if you have a history of stomach disorders such as appendicitis or a blockage in your bowel. Keep it where children cannot reach it. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using it.

• Avoid taking a Gerbisa Suppository for more than 1 week, unless prescribed by the doctor, as it leads to dependency on the laxative action to produce a bowel movement.
• Use Gerbisa Suppository after 2 hours from other medicines, as it may interfere with the absorption of other medicines.
• Gerbisa Suppository should be preferably used at bedtime because it requires 6 to 8 hours to show impact.
