General Information

Product introduction
Esmodec 40mg Tablet can also be used to prevent stomach ulcers caused by certain medications, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Take it in the exact dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning or at least 1 hour before a meal. Continue taking the medicine even if your symptoms disappear until the doctor says it is okay to stop. If you are taking this medicine for a long time, your doctor may carry out regular tests to check your levels of magnesium, which can fall with this medicine.
Common side effects include headache, constipation or diarrhea, stomach pain, and nausea. These tend to be mild, but talk to your doctor if they bother you or do not go away. The risk of side effects may increase the longer you take this medicine. You may be more likely to have a broken bone if you take it for a long time. It is best to avoid foods that seem to make your symptoms worse, such as rich, spicy, and fatty foods. Cutting down on caffeinated drinks, such as tea, coffee, and cola, as well as alcohol, may also help.
Esmodec 40mg Tablet may not be suitable for some people. Before taking this medicine, you need to tell your doctor if you have severe liver problems, are taking medicines for HIV, have had an allergic reaction to similar medicines in the past, or have osteoporosis. Alcohol does not interfere with the way Esmodec 40mg Tablet works; however, drinking alcohol makes your stomach produce more acid than normal. This medicine can make you feel dizzy, sleepy, or affect your vision. If this happens, do not drive, cycle, or use machinery or tools until you feel better. This medicine is not usually recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Benefits of Esmodec Tablet
Esmodec 40mg Tablet helps relieve the discomfort caused by excessive stomach acid, such as burning sensations, sour stomach, or acid regurgitation. By reducing acid production, it soothes the stomach lining and prevents irritation, providing fast and lasting relief. For individuals suffering from frequent acidity, Esmodec 40mg Tablet improves their quality of life by enabling them to enjoy meals and daily activities without the discomfort and inconvenience of acid-related symptoms.
Esmodec 40mg Tablet helps manage GERD by reducing the flow of stomach acid into the esophagus, which causes the burning sensation of heartburn and other acid reflux symptoms. This helps alleviate discomfort, protects the esophagus from long-term damage, and minimizes complications like inflammation or narrowing of the esophagus.
In individuals with peptic ulcer disease, Esmodec 40mg Tablet helps reduce stomach acid levels, which allows the ulcers to heal more effectively and prevents further damage to the stomach lining. It also helps reduce symptoms like pain, nausea, and indigestion. By promoting healing and preventing the recurrence of ulcers, Esmodec 40mg Tablet improves patients’ comfort and restores normal digestion, improving their overall well-being.
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is a rare disorder where excessive stomach acid production can cause severe symptoms like diarrhea, abdominal pain, and ulcers. Esmodec 40mg Tablet reduces this overproduction of acid, helping to control symptoms and prevent complications like bleeding ulcers. By managing acid levels effectively, the medicine allows patients to lead a more comfortable and active life without being constantly disrupted by severe digestive symptoms.
