Dulcolax Tablet is a laxative. It works by increasing the movement of the intestines, thereby facilitating the passage of stool. It also helps clean out the intestines prior to medical procedures or examination.

Pregnancy

Dulcolax Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Dulcolax Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Patients may experience dizziness and/or syncope due to a vasovagal response (e.g. to abdominal spasm). If patients experience abdominal spasm they should avoid driving.
Kidney
There is limited information available on the use of Dulcolax Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Dulcolax Tablet is generally not advised if there is associated vomiting as the loss of body water can be harmful to kidney function.
Liver

What if you miss a dose of Dulcolax Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Dulcolax Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Hello sir. Change your life style. daily exercise, lot of water at least 3 lts a day. include more salads and roughage to the diet. Avoid spicy and fatty food . iF this does not solve the problem for gastritis take Pan 40 before breakfast daily fro 10 days along with the above mentioned life style modifications. for constipation you can have syrup dulcolax 2 table spoon before going to bed.
I am having chronic constipation, please suggest any medicine having no side effects
