Hello, greetings from 1mg.comIdeally an x ray needed to be done to rule out fracture. If there is fracture, it is managed by POP cast application in most cases. If there is no fracture on x ray Then it is assumed that it is soft tissue injury e.g ligament tear And it is managed as follow: Immobilisation by splint or crepe bandage. Don't bear weight on affected foot till it get better. Use OTC painkiller like Tab denzo-P SOS. If there is swelling do ice fomentation and take tab chymoral forte twice daily for 3 days.
