General Information

Product introduction
Dalstep 10mg Tablet ER should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and take it at the same time each day for best results. Before starting treatment, your doctor may check your kidney function, and they may monitor it during the treatment to ensure safe use.
Common side effects include urinary tract infection, difficulty sleeping, dizziness, headache, nausea, weakness, back pain, balance problems, constipation, indigestion, and throat irritation. Some people may also experience burning or tingling sensations. These side effects are usually mild, but you should inform your doctor if they persist or become bothersome.
Dalstep 10mg Tablet ER can cause seizures, even in people who have never had one before, and the risk increases with higher doses or reduced kidney function. Do not take this medicine if you have ever had a seizure or if you have moderate to severe kidney problems. Stop taking the medicine and seek medical help immediately if you experience a seizure or signs of a serious allergic reaction, such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the throat or tongue, or hives. Inform your doctor about all other medicines you are taking and about any medical conditions, especially kidney problems, before starting treatment.
Uses of Dalstep Tablet ER
Benefits of Dalstep Tablet ER
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, where damage to the protective covering of nerves (myelin) disrupts the normal flow of nerve signals. This can lead to symptoms such as weakness, difficulty walking, balance problems, and fatigue. Dalstep 10mg Tablet ER helps improve walking in adults with multiple sclerosis. It has been shown to increase walking speed in some patients. It works by blocking potassium channels, which may help improve the conduction of nerve signals in damaged (demyelinated) nerves. This can lead to improved walking ability and mobility in certain patients with MS.
