Uses

Cytogan 500mg tablet is used in the treatment of eye infections by herpes simplex virus.

How it works

Cytogan 500mg tablet is an antiviral drug that belongs to a class called synthetic nucleoside analogues. It works by blocking the viral DNA replication a process essential for the virus to grow and multiply. Cytogan 500mg tablet thus stops the virus from spreading in the body.
