Cyclopen D Eye Drop should be used exactly as directed by your doctor. It is administered directly into the eye, usually about 40 minutes before an eye examination or several times a day for eye inflammation, depending on the condition being treated. Soft contact lenses should be removed before using the drops and should not be worn while the medicine is in use.
There is limited data on the common side effects of Cyclopen D Eye Drop. However, it may cause blurred vision, sensitivity to light, stinging, eye redness, or eye irritation after use in some people. These effects are usually temporary and improve as the medicine wears off. If you experience any side effects that persist or get worse, let your doctor know.
Cyclopen D Eye Drop should not be used in people with narrow-angle glaucoma, or in those who are allergic to cyclopentolate or benzalkonium chloride. It should also be avoided in very young infants, particularly during the first three months of life, and used with extreme caution in children, as they are more sensitive to side effects. The medicine should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding if a doctor considers it essential.
