Product introduction

Cyclopan Eye Drop should be used exactly as directed by your doctor. It is administered directly into the eye, usually about 40 minutes before an eye examination or several times a day for eye inflammation, depending on the condition being treated. Soft contact lenses should be removed before using the drops and should not be worn while the medicine is in use.

There is limited data on the common side effects of Cyclopan Eye Drop. However, it may cause blurred vision, sensitivity to light, stinging, eye redness, or eye irritation after use in some people. These effects are usually temporary and improve as the medicine wears off. If you experience any side effects that persist or get worse, let your doctor know.

Cyclopan Eye Drop should not be used in people with narrow-angle glaucoma, or in those who are allergic to cyclopentolate or benzalkonium chloride. It should also be avoided in very young infants, particularly during the first three months of life, and used with extreme caution in children, as they are more sensitive to side effects. The medicine should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding if a doctor considers it essential.

Uses of Cyclopan Eye Drop

Benefits of Cyclopan Eye Drop

Eye examination
Eye examination consists of multiple tests performed in order to assess the vision as well as health of the eyes. It helps to analyse the function of the eyes better and also figure out any problems that may be creating problems with eyesight. Cyclopan Eye Drop helps to increase the size of the pupil which helps in thorough examination of the eyes and its associated structures. It is used by an eye specialist and should not be self-administered.
Treatment of Uveitis
The middle layer in the inner wall of the eye is called uvea and any inflammation in this layer is called uveitis. This may cause sudden noticeable symptoms such as pain, redness, blurred vision, swelling etc. It may even occur after an eye procedure of surgery such as cataract surgery. Cyclopan Eye Drop helps relieve these symptoms and improves the eye health. It should be used as advised by the doctor to get the most benefit.

How to use Cyclopan Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

How Cyclopan Eye Drop works

Cyclopan Eye Drop is an anti-muscarinic medicine that works by blocking specific nerve signals in the eye. This causes the muscles that control pupil size and focusing to relax, leading to pupil dilation and temporary loss of focusing ability. These effects make it easier for doctors to examine the inside of the eye and help reduce pain and spasm in inflammatory eye conditions.

Quick tips

  • Cyclopan Eye Drop enlarges the pupil for eye examination and is commonly used in adults.
  • It also reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) after cataract surgery.
  • Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
  • Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
  • Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
