How to use Corvela Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Corvela 500mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Taking it with food may lessen the chance the Corvela 500mg Tablet will upset the stomach.

How Corvela Tablet works

Corvela 500mg Tablet is an anti-anginal medication. It works by decreasing the oxygen requirement of the heart by relaxing heart muscle.

No. Both Corvela and trimetazidine are used for the treatment of angina but they work by a different mechanism. Trimetazidine works by improves glucose utilisation of heart cells through inhibition of fatty acid metabolism.
