Coolprotik Capsule may be taken with or without food. However, take it in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor to get the most benefit. It is also advised to not stop taking this medicine until the doctor says otherwise.

When prescribed for diarrhea due to antibiotics, it is advised to stop taking this medicine if you have a high fever or have had a fever for more than 2 days. How Coolprotik Capsule works

Upon oral administration, the bacteria in Coolprotik Capsule help modulate the composition of the normal microflora and maintain adequate colonization of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Upon colonization of the GIT, the probiotic bacteria form a protective barrier that helps maintain the integrity of the epithelial barrier. This barrier interferes with the attachment of pathogenic bacteria and other harmful substances, prevents inflammation, and improves gastrointestinal function.

Quick tips

Stick to simple meals, and avoid rich or spicy food while taking Coolprotik Capsule.
Diarrhea can cause water loss and electrolyte imbalance. Drink plenty of fluids to help keep you hydrated.
Take Coolprotik Capsule at least 2 hours after any other medicines, as it may interfere with the absorption of other medicines.
Consult your doctor if your symptoms last for more than 48 hours.
