Product introduction

Celemix Infusion is generally administered by a doctor or a nurse in a hospital or a clinical setting. You should not self-administer this medicine at home. The dose and duration of your treatment will depend on the severity of your condition.

The most common side effects are diarrhea, nausea, and stomach cramps. These are usually mild and go away after a couple of days. You can help avoid these side effects by drinking plenty of fluids or taking the medicine between meals. Occasionally people develop serious side effects including severe stomach pain, severe diarrhea, mood changes, and seizures. Talk to your doctor straight away if you notice any of these.

Before taking Celemix Infusion, you should tell your doctor if you have diabetes or if you are unable to digest milk sugar (lactose intolerant). If you use this medicine over a long period of time, your doctor may want you to have occasional blood tests to check the mineral levels (e.g., potassium and sodium). Do not take other laxative medicines while taking this medicine and check with your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Uses of Celemix Infusion

Benefits of Celemix Infusion

Constipation
Constipation causes infrequent or difficult bowel movements, leading to discomfort, bloating, and strain. Celemix Infusion helps by increasing water content in the intestines, making stools softer and easier to pass, which provides relief and restores regular bowel function.
Intestine preparation before any surgery
Before certain surgeries, the bowel needs to be completely clean to reduce the risk of infection and improve surgical visibility. Celemix Infusion works by flushing out intestinal contents, ensuring the bowel is cleared and the patient is ready for the procedure.

Frequently asked questions

Celemix Infusion is used to relieve constipation and digestive irregularities. Celemix Infusion acts by a process called osmosis where more water is pulled into the intestines. The excess water in the intestine makes the stool softer or even watery which is easy to flush out from the body.
Celemix Infusion is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Celemix Infusion too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.
The most common side effects of Celemix Infusion are diarrhea, nausea and stomach cramps. However, these are usually not bothersome. Consult your doctor if the symptoms persist.
You should add more fiber to your diet. You can eat vegetables, fresh fruits and whole grains as they are rich in fiber. Drink plenty of water and avoid taking alcohol. This will help to smoothen the stools and ensure an easy pass through your system. You may also take laxatives or fiber supplements if you are facing issues with digestion. If still your symptoms do not improve, please consult your doctor.
There is no clarity on the use of Celemix Infusion in pregnancy. However, if you are pregnant or planning to conceive, consult your doctor before taking Celemix Infusion. You may take it only if prescribed by your doctor.
Celemix Infusion is safe if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Take it exactly as directed and do not skip any dose. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and let your doctor know if any of the side effects bother you.
