Do not stop taking it until you have finished, even when you feel better. If you stop taking it early, some bacteria may survive and the infection may come back. Do not consume Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) two weeks before and at least 10 days after consuming Cefpodoxime Proxetil. Please consult your doctor. Cefpodoxime Proxetil may reduce the efficacy of Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).

Severe

Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine (Injection Route)

Cefpodoxime Proxetil may reduce the efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine. Cefpodoxime Proxetil may reduce the efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.

Moderate

Cimetidine (Oral Route)

To take Cefpodoxime Proxetil, ensure a gap of at least 2 hours before taking Cimetidine. Cimetidine may reduce blood levels of Cefpodoxime Proxetil.
