How to use Aristogyl F Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aristogyl F 100 mg/400 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
This will help to avoid stomach upset.
Avoid Aristogyl F 100 mg/400 mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

How Aristogyl F Tablet works

Aristogyl F 100 mg/400 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Furazolidone and Metronidazole which treat stomach and intestine infections. Furazolidone works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Metronidazole kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

CAUTION
Aristogyl F 100 mg/400 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
