Interaction with drugs
Taking Acusalt with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Moderate
Lithium carbonate (Oral Route)
Do not consume sodium-containing medicines with Lithium carbonate and Sodium Chloride. Your doctor may monitor your Lithium carbonate levels closely. Sodium Chloride may reduce blood levels of active form of Lithium carbonate.
Moderate
Tolvaptan (Oral Route)
If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your blood sodium levels closely. Sodium Chloride may reduce blood levels of active form of Tolvaptan.

You should mix Acusalt 1gm Tablet in 120 ml of distilled water and use it as per your doctor's advice. Your doctor may also advise you to take Acusalt 1gm Tablet without dissolving in case of excessive perspiration to prevent heat cramps.
