Orcerin ointment contains Camphor, Capsaicin, Diacerein, Glucosamine, Menthol. It is used to relieve pain associated with recent muscle or joint injuries such as sprains, strains, or sports injuries. It also relieves pain from rheumatoid arthritis etc.
Role of key ingredients: Capsaicin is a counter irritant which stimulates the release of a compound involved in communicating pain between the nerves in the spinal cord and other parts of the body thus decreases the intensity of pain signals in the body. Diacerein is a slow-acting medicine of the class anthraquinone used to treat joint diseases such as osteoarthritis (swelling and pain in the joints). Camphor (Karpoora) is a mild analgesic and a rubefacient. By dilating the capillaries and increasing blood circulation, Camphor effectively treats deep-seated pain associated with joints and bones.
Directions of use: Gently massage Orcerin ointment into the skin of the affected area. Allow the medicine to dry for at least 10 minutes before you wear clothes or gloves over the treated area. Wash your hands immediately after using cream, unless your hands are part of the treated area Do not wrap, bandage, or apply heat to the treated area.
