Ultrasound Obstetrical with Bio-Physical Score

The Ultrasound Obstetrical with Bio-Physical Score test is a combination of non stress test & fetal ultrasound. Non stress test monitors fetal heart rate. The test is used to evaluate baby's heart rate, breathing, movements, muscle tone & amniotic fluid. The test is usually recommended after 32 weeks of pregnancy when there are chances of fetal complications or pregnancy loss. It is noninvasive & completely safe, measuring segment score” from 0 to 3 and these segment scores are summed for a total BBPS score ranging from 0 to 9.
