Ultrasound Scrotal test is a painless and non-invasive imaging procedure. It uses sound waves to create pictures of the testicles, epididymis and surrounding structures within the scrotum. Scrotum is a flesh-covered sac that is situated between the legs at the base of the penis and contains the testicles. The scan helps doctors in checking for swelling, pain, lump, or other issues within the scrotum.

It helps to check the cyst/tumor in scrotum, size and symmetry of testicles, lump in one or both of the testicles, reason for pain in the testicles and abnormal blood flows in the testicles caused by testicular torsion.
