Know more about this test
A NCCT Scan Right Leg is used to create an image of the right leg to provide a clear view of various leg problems such as fractures, ligament damage, etc. It is a computer-based scan combined with X-rays. The patient will be stripped of all metal items before the scan. They will be positioned on the CT table where the scan is performed, during which they must stay completely motionless.
Although the NCCT right leg scan is safe, it may result in side effects such as mild radiation exposure, which causes fatigue, or a minor sensation of nausea. Patients should stop eating solid meals and drinking drinks 4 hours before the scan. One hour before the scan, no water should be consumed.
