A Magnetic Resonance Imagining (MRI) of the Prostate gland with Contrast helps to create pictures of the male’s prostate gland and its surrounding soft tissues. The contrast helps in increasing the visibility of the internal organs and hence improves the sensitivity and diagnostic accuracy of the MRI scan.

This test is prescribed by the doctor to diagnose out any infection of the prostate gland and to diagnose any suspected prostate cancer or abnormal growth in or around the soft tissues of the prostate.
