Kardiogen

The Kardiogen test is a blood test used to screen the genetic risk of heart disease such as CAD (coronary artery disease) even before your body shows any clinical symptoms suggestive of heart disease. It's a polygenic risk score (PRS) screening that screens for 1.29 million markers to generate a PRS score. This test can be performed on all individuals above eighteen years of age, including those with a family history of heart disease. It helps you to manage your heart disease at the early stages before your body starts to show symptoms and thereby helps to reduce the possibility of getting a heart attack at a young age. Measures such as regular screening of heart health and certain lifestyle changes such as eating a balanced diet, maintaining a healthy weight, etc. may help improve your overall well-being and lower your genetic risk of heart disease.
