The CT Scanogram Both Lower Limbs is a diagnostic procedure where rotating beams of X-rays are used to create cross-sectional images of the lower limbs or legs, which can then be used to create a three-dimensional image of the legs.
This test is prescribed by the doctor to measure the length of the leg bones and to assess any inequality of the length of the legs, especially in children.
CT exams generally use a small amount of radiation and are therefore considered relatively safer as compared to X-rays.
