CECT Scan PNS - Axial, Coronal & Saggital

Paranasal sinuses (PNS) are the group of air-filled spaces surrounding the nasal cavity. The CECT Scan PNS - Axial, Coronal & Saggital is a non-invasive imaging method to detect inflammation, fluid accumulation, tumor, injury, or fracture affecting this area. The scan involves using a contrast material, which enhances the view. Thus, doctors can obtain clear images of the sinus cavity, sideways from the right to the left side (sagittal view).
The radiologist administers the contrast agent through a vein in your hand or forearm. Before the test, avoid eating or drinking anything for 4-6 hours and remove all metal accessories from your body. Also, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, have diabetes, kidney problems, or have allergies. Your doctor will discuss your reports if any abnormalities are detected.
