Know more about this test

The CECT Scan Left Leg is an imaging technique used to create a detailed three-dimensional image of the left thigh bone or femur to detect any underlying pathological conditions.
This test is prescribed by the doctor to detect the fractures of the femur (thighbone) not visible on a simple X-ray, to detect the cause of any unexplained pain in the thighbone, and to diagnose any suspected infection, osteoporosis, deformities, or abnormal growth of the thighbone.
CT exams generally use a small amount of radiation and are therefore considered relatively safer as compared to X-rays.
