Know more about this test

3D-CT Scan Left Thigh is a painless, rapid, non-invasive imaging procedure used to get details about the insides of the left thigh. A CT scan uses X-rays and computers to get clear cross-sectional images of your body. Doctors use these images to get information regarding bones, muscles, blood vessels, etc. A doctor will recommend a 3D CT of the left thigh to identify the cause of muscle pain and to identify any damages to the bone or surrounding tissues in the left thigh.
Pregnant women are advised not to get a CT scan because of the potential risk to the baby. Sometimes a contrast agent will be administered to get clearer images of muscle. Although rare, some people may develop allergic reactions due to the contrast agent.
