मायलोडिसप्लास्टिक सिंड्रोम के इलाज में

Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) are a group of rare blood disorders characterized by abnormal development of blood cells in the bone marrow. In MDS, the bone marrow fails to produce enough healthy and fully matured blood cells, leading to low blood cell counts, which can result in anemia, infections, and bleeding problems.

Lenado 25mg Tablet is used to treat certain types of MDS, specifically those associated with a specific part of the chromosomes in the blood cells. How to use Lenado Tablet

इस दवा की खुराक और अनुपान की अवधि के लिए अपने डॉक्टर से सलाह लें. इसे साबुत निगल लें. इसे चबाएं, कुचलें या तोड़ें नहीं. Lenado 25mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Lenado Tablet works

Lenado 25mg Tablet is an anti-cancer medication. यह कैंसर कोशिकाओं पर अप्रत्यक्ष हमला करने वाले इम्यून सिस्टम को बढ़ाकर काम करता है. यह ट्यूमर के अंदर नई ब्लड वेसल की वृद्धि की रोकथाम करता है. यह कैंसर कोशिकाओं की वृद्धि के लिए जिम्मेदार केमिकल मैसेंजर (साइटोकाइन और ग्रोथ फैक्टर) के उत्पादन को भी प्रतिबंधित करता है. इस प्रकार से यह कैंसर के खिलाफ काम करता है.

इलाज के पहले और इलाज के दौरान, नियमित ब्लड टेस्ट के माध्यम से आपकी निगरानी की जा सकती है क्योंकि लेनालिडोमाइड के कारण श्वेत रुधिर कणिकाओं और प्लेटलेट्स की संख्या में गिरावट आ सकती है जो संक्रमणों से मुकाबला करने, हीमोग्लोबिन तथा रक्त का थक्का जमाने के लिए आवश्यक होती हैं.
ऐसी गतिविधियों से बचें जिनसे शरीर में खरोंच या चोट लग सकती है और जुकाम या संक्रमण होने वाले लोगों के संपर्क में आने से बचें.
यह आपकी त्वचा को सूरज की रोशनी के प्रति संवेदनशील बना देता है. बाहर जाते समय सनस्क्रीन लगाएं या सुरक्षात्मक कपड़े पहनें.
इसके कारण डिहाइड्रेशन हो सकता है. दवा लेते समय हाइड्रेटेड रहने के लिए बहुत सारा पानी पीएं.
1 वर्ष से कम के बच्चों और एडोलसेंट्स द्वारा इस्तेमाल के लिए इसकी सलाह नहीं दी जाती है.

Lenado 25mg Tablet may cause side effects which include diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, loss of appetite, weight loss, weakness, dizziness, change in ability to taste, and pain or burning of the tongue, mouth, or throat. दवा के कारण हाथों या पैरों में टच, जलना या टिंगलिंग, नींद, अवसाद, और जोड़ों, मांसपेशियों, हड्डी या पीठ में दर्द कम होने से भी कम हो सकता है. People with multiple myeloma (a form of cancer that begins in plasma cells, a type of white blood cell) who receive melphalan (chemotherapy) and a blood stem cell transplant with the addition of Lenado 25mg Tablet have a higher risk of developing new cancers. इन प्रकार के कैंसरों में कुछ रक्त कैंसर (अक्यूट मायलोजीनस ल्यूकीमिया या AML) और हॉजकिन लिम्फोमा नामक लिम्फोमा शामिल हो सकते हैं. Q. Do I need to get any blood tests done while on Lenado 25mg Tablet

You may need to continue taking the blood tests at least every month after treatment with Lenado 25mg Tablet ends. Frequent blood tests are important as Lenado 25mg Tablet may decrease the blood cells that help fight infection (white blood cells) and help the blood to clot (platelets).

Q. Do I need to use birth control methods while using Lenado 25mg Tablet

Women who can become pregnant must use two acceptable forms of birth control for 4 weeks before they begin taking Lenado 25mg Tablet. Continue using contraceptives during your treatment, including the times when your doctor tells you to temporarily stop taking Lenado 25mg Tablet, and for 4 weeks after your final dose. In men, Lenado 25mg Tablet may pass into the semen while they are on treatment. इसलिए, पुरुषों को हमेशा सेक्सुअल कॉन्टैक्ट होने पर लेटेक्स कंडोम का उपयोग करना होगा, भले ही उनके पास वेसेक्टॉमी होने पर भी (सर्जरी जो गर्भावस्था का कारण बनने से रोकती है).
