How Zocef Injection works

Zocef 750 mg Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Pregnancy
PROBABLY SAFE
Zocef 750 mg Injection is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
SAFE
Zocef 750 mg Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Avoid prolonged use of Zocef 750 mg Injection, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.
Driving
Not relevant, as Zocef 750 mg Injection is intended for use in hospitalised patients.
Kidney

Loteprednol is used in the treatment of inflammatory and allergic conditions of the superficial layers of the eye, such as allergic conjunctivitis (allergic itching and redness of the whites of the eye, with tearing), conjunctivitis that occurs as part of acne rosacea (persistent redness over the areas of the face and nose), superficial punctate keratitis (inflammation of cornea), iritis (Inflammation of the interior eye structures), cyclitis (inflammation of cilliary body of the eye). It is also used in the treatment of postoperative inflammation of the eye after the eye surgery.Tobramycin is used as an injection for treating bacterial infections of the skin, heart, stomach, brain, spinal cord, lungs, and urinary tract (bladder and kidneys). It is also used in the treatment of cystic fibrosis. In the form of eye-drops, it can be used to treat eye infections.
