VP Cold Plus Syrup

VP Cold Plus Syrup can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration will depend on the severity of your condition. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is all right to stop using it.

Using this medicine may cause a few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, sleepiness, dizziness, and headache. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms.

Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other medical conditions or disorders. To ensure it is safe for you, inform your doctor about all the other medicines you are taking. Also, tell your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may increase the risk of side effects. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine.

• Treatment of Common cold : VP Cold Plus Syrup helps relieve symptoms of the common cold, such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, watery eyes, sore throat, mild fever, and body aches.

• Do not take VP Cold Plus Syrup with other medicines containing paracetamol (commonly found in cold or fever medicines) unless advised by your doctor.
• VP Cold Plus Syrup may cause dizziness or drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
• Avoid alcohol or other sedating medicines while taking VP Cold Plus Syrup, as they may increase sleepiness.
• Dry mouth or constipation may occur; maintaining hydration and adequate fiber intake may help.
• Inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disorders, glaucoma, or prostate enlargement before using VP Cold Plus Syrup.
• Avoid combining VP Cold Plus Syrup with other decongestants or cough medicines unless your doctor advises you to.
• Consult your doctor if you experience palpitations, severe headache, or unusual restlessness.
• Use supportive measures such as warm fluids, saline gargles, or steam inhalation if suitable to help relieve symptoms.
• Consult your doctor if fever persists for more than a couple of days or if cold symptoms last longer than 5–7 days or worsen.
