Product introduction

Vertidom Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of vertigo. It prevents nausea, vomiting, and other symptoms of vertigo.

Vertidom Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. It is better to take it with food to avoid stomach upset. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are nausea, dryness in mouth, indigestion, and weight gain. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

In Vertigo

Vertigo means a spinning sensation or dizziness that is triggered due to frequent movement. It can happen due to many reasons but it may also occur without any underlying disease. Vertidom Tablet helps treat this sensation effectively. If you feel dizzy while getting up from the bed, sit for a while and then rise slowly to avoid having an accidental fall. It will be more effective if you take this medicine regularly as prescribed so try not to miss doses. It may take a couple of weeks before you notice any improvements but keep taking it, even if you do feel better, until your doctor advises it is safe to stop.

Side effects of Vertidom Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

CAUTION

Vertidom Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.

Driving

UNSAFE

Vertidom Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION

Vertidom Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Liver

UNSAFE

Vertidom Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
Use of Vertidom Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.

What if you forget to take Vertidom Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Vertidom Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Take it at the same time each day to maintain a steady amount of the medicine in your body.
Do not take it for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
Vertidom Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them.

While during walking. I feel like a dizziness (slight disorientation) it's not always but occasionally while walking on sunlight etc. I take 20 mg rosuvastatin for my cholesterol (genetic) problem. You should continue to take Vertidom Tablet until your doctor asks you to stop it. If you stop taking Vertidom Tablet sooner than advised, the symptoms of vertigo may reappear (dizziness and spinning).
