Side Effects of Cido are Nausea, Dryness in mouth, Dyspepsia, Sleepiness, Weight gain.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cido Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Cido Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Cinnarizine. Domperidone is an antiemetic and a prokinetic. It works by blocking the action of a dopamine (a chemical messenger) in the brain which causes nausea and vomiting. Cinnarizine is calcium channel antagonist which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the microcirculation of the ear.

Q. Can I stop taking Cido if I feel well?
You should continue to take Cido until your doctor informs you to stop it. If you stop taking Cido soon: you may have the symptoms of vertigo again (dizziness and ’spinning’).
Q. Can the use of Cido cause drowsiness?
Yes, Cido can make you feel drowsy. At the beginning of your treatment: do not drive, operate machinery, work at heights, or participate in potentially dangerous activities; until you know how this medicine affects you.
Q. What if I accidentally take too much of this medicine?
Visit the nearest emergency department If you accidentally take too much of this medicine.
Q. What if I miss a dose of Cido?
If you miss a dose of Cido: you should skip the missed dose and take the next dose at its usual time and quantity. You should not take a double dose of Cido to make up for a missed dose.
