Urgefen-M 50 Tablet ER is advised to be taken in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. You should not stop taking the medicine without consulting the doctor as it may lead to the worsening of your symptoms. The course of the treatment should be completed for better efficacy of the medicine.
There is limited data on the side effects of Urgefen-M 50 Tablet ER. Let your doctor know if you experience any symptoms while taking the medicine. They may be able to suggest ways to treat or manage the side effects.
Before receiving the treatment, inform your doctor if you are on any medication for any other health condition. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, tell your doctor prior to the treatment. Urgefen-M 50 Tablet ER helps to treat uncontrollable contractions (spasms) of the bladder muscles that cause frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control passing of urine. It also relieves painful, or frequent urination and reduces urgency to urinate that may occur with some infections of the urinary tract. This way it helps manage the overactive bladder symptoms efficiently.

- Avoid caffeine (tea, coffee, cola, etc.) as it is a natural diuretic (increased urine production) and will make your symptoms worse.
- Avoid drinking too much water before going to bed as it will increase your urge to go to the toilet and thus disturb your sleep.
