Trifos Oral Solution

Use Trifos Oral Solution only as directed by your child’s doctor. It is usually given before bedtime or before a medical or diagnostic procedure to help your child relax or fall asleep. As Trifos Oral Solution remains active for several hours, your child may feel sleepy or less alert the following morning.

Prolonged or excessive use may lead to dependence or reduced effectiveness over time. Do not stop the medicine suddenly without medical advice, as this may cause withdrawal symptoms.

Some children may experience mild side effects such as drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, or unsteady movement after taking Trifos Oral Solution. These effects are usually temporary and subside as the body adjusts. However, if these symptoms persist, worsen, or cause discomfort, consult your child’s doctor promptly.

Before starting Trifos Oral Solution, inform your child’s doctor about any history of allergies, liver, kidney, or heart problems, or any previous reaction to sedative medicines. This helps ensure safe and effective treatment tailored to your child’s needs.

• As a Sedative

• Give Trifos Oral Solution to your child only before bedtime if it is prescribed for insomnia, or as advised by the doctor. If you forget to give it at bedtime, skip the missed dose. Do not give it at any other time of the day, as it may cause daytime drowsiness, dizziness, or confusion.
• This medicine may cause drowsiness or sleepiness. Ensure your child avoids activities that require concentration or coordination soon after taking Trifos Oral Solution.
• Never self-medicate your child. Use Trifos Oral Solution only on a doctor’s prescription and strictly for the duration recommended.
• Inform your child’s doctor if your child experiences vomiting, stomach upset, abdominal pain, or unusual tiredness while taking this medicine.
• Let the doctor know if your child has a history of heart, liver, or kidney problems, as the dose or suitability may need adjustment.
• Avoid giving other sedatives, antihistamines, or cough and cold medicines unless prescribed, as they may increase drowsiness or cause side effects.
