Tbis 0.1% Ointment is used for atopic dermatitis. It is usually used only after topical corticosteroids or emollients have not worked for you.

How to use Tbis Ointment

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

How Tbis Ointment works

Tbis 0.1% Ointment is an immunosuppressant. It works by suppressing the activity of certain immune cells that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) of the skin. This relieves itching and improves rashes in atopic dermatitis.

  • Tbis 0.1% Ointment is used to decrease skin inflammation in eczema (atopic dermatitis).
  • Improvement may be seen within one week of starting treatment. 
  • Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
  • If you think the area of skin you are treating has become infected you should stop using Tbis 0.1% Ointment and consult your doctor.
  • It may cause temporary burning, itching or a feeling of warmth at application site. This is usually mild. Consult your doctor if you experience a more severe reaction.
  • Don't apply moisturisers to the same area of skin within two hours of applying Tbis 0.1% Ointment.
