Suviray Injection

Suviray Injection is given as an injection in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm subcutaneously. Before administering the injection, allow the medicine to be at room temperature for at least 30 minutes protected from direct sunlight. Do not warm by using a heat source such as hot water or a microwave. Do not inject the medicine into areas where the skin is tender, bruised, or hard.

The most common side effects of this medicine are injection site reactions (such as pain, swelling, and redness) and constipation. It may also cause itching and muscle spasms in some people. If you experience such side effects that do not heal on their own or get worse, inform your doctor. They may be able to help you reduce or treat the side effects.

Do not use Suviray Injection if you are allergic to erenumab or any ingredients of the medicine. Before using the doctor about all your medical conditions. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

• Consult your doctor immediately if you notice any sign of severe allergic reactions like rash or breathing difficulties.
• Monitor your blood pressure at home at regular intervals and inform your doctor if you experience a rise in your blood pressure.
• You can apply an ice pack on the injection site if you experience pain and redness.
• You may experience severe constipation after taking Suviray Injection. Inform your doctor who may prescribe medicines accordingly or discontinue this medicine in case of constipation with serious complications.
• Do not give Suviray Injection to anyone else, even if they have the same symptoms that you have since it can harm them.
• Some tips that may help avoid a migraine attack:
  a) Have your meals at the same time every day.
  b) Avoid bright lights and extreme temperatures.
  c) Avoid loud music and noisy places.
  d) Avoid chocolates, cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking.
  f) Get sufficient sleep and avoid stress.
