Sugaflo M 10mg/500mg Tablet may be taken with food. Take it at the same time every day; this will help you remember to take it. Your doctor will decide the dose. The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, diarrhea and urinary tract infection. Drinking plenty of fluids while using it will help prevent dehydration. Some people may develop fungal infections in the genital area. Maintaining good hygiene can help prevent this.

Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems or a urinary tract infection, or if you are on water pills (diuretics). How Sugaflo M Tablet works

Sugaflo M 10mg/500mg Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Dapagliflozin and Metformin. Dapagliflozin works by removing excess sugar (glucose) from your body through urine. Metformin works by lowering sugar production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from the intestines, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Together, they provide better control of blood sugar.

  • Continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines (if prescribed) along with Sugaflo M 10mg/500mg Tablet.
  • Take it with food to lower your chance of having an upset stomach.
  • Sugaflo M 10mg/500mg Tablet can cause a urinary tract infection. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and practice good genital hygiene.
  • It may cause your body to lose too much fluid (dehydration) or for you to urinate more often. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.
  • It can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or if you delay or miss a meal.
  • Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms such as cold sweats, cool, pale skin, tremors, and anxious feelings.
