How Solfe Extra Tablet works
Solfe Extra Tablet is a combination of vitamins and minerals. Folic acid is essential for the production of red blood cells. It prevents and treats folate deficiency and anemia. Sodium feredetate breaks down within the gastrointestinal tract and releases elemental iron, which is then absorbed. Iron exerts hematinic action by being an essential constituent of hemoglobin, making it necessary for the oxidative process of living tissues. Vitamin B12 corrects a vitamin B12 deficiency, thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Zinc is needed for the body's immune system to work properly. It plays a role in growth, wound healing, and gut health maintenance. Zinc is also needed for the senses of taste and smell.
Quick tips
- Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Solfe Extra Tablet, as they make it harder for your body to absorb this medicine.
- Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications like antihypertensives, antibiotics, or medicines for heart disease or bone disorders.
- Drink plenty of water while taking this medicine.
- Along with Solfe Extra Tablet, take a healthy diet, sleep for a minimum of 6-7 hours at night, and reduce stress levels.
