Smilogel Mouth Ulcer Gel is a combination medicine used in the treatment of mouth ulcers. It promotes the healing of mouth ulcers by forming a protective coating over the mouth sores. It also blocks the transmission of pain signals to the brain to decrease the sensation of pain.

Smilogel Mouth Ulcer Gel should be used strictly as advised by your doctor. Use it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. You should not use more quantity or more often than prescribed by your doctor. This will not make it work any faster rather increase the chance of side effects.

It is usually safe with little or no side effects. However, it may cause burning or stinging sensation immediately after use. These are temporary and usually resolve with time. If they do not get better with time or worsen, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Before using the medicine, it is important to tell your doctor if you are using or have recently used any other medicines for the same condition or other diseases. To make sure the medicine is safe, pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using the medicine.

Smilogel Mouth Ulcer Gel is a treatment for fast, effective relief of pain from mouth ulcers. It stops pain by producing a feeling of numbness at the site of application. It reduces redness, swelling and promotes healing of the ulcers. Smilogel Mouth Ulcer Gel contains Menthol that gives relief from burning sensation due to ulcers and creates a soothing effect in the mouth. It is advisable to reapply Smilogel Mouth Ulcer Gel after every 3-4 hours for better results.

How Smilogel Dental Gel works

Smilogel Mouth Ulcer Gel is a combination of three medicines: Lidocaine, Choline Salicylate and Menthol. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases sensation of pain. Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Menthol provides a cooling effect.
