Sacharom Sachet also prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in the stomach and intestine and improve the functioning of the digestive system. It is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. You may take this medicine along with oral rehydration solution (ORS) as it will help to provide adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should take this medicine until your doctor tells you to stop. Consult a doctor while taking any other medicine especially steroids or antibiotics along with this medicine.
The most common side effects are bloating and flatulence. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects.

Who should not take Sacharom Sachet?
Individuals should not take Sacharom Sachet if they are allergic to yeast or any of the ingredients present in it, have a central venous catheter, are critically ill, or have a weak immune system.
Can Sacharom Sachet cause serious side effects?
Although they are rare, serious side effects of Sacharom Sachet may include severe allergic reactions such as swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing, or anaphylaxis. Rare cases of bloodstream infection (fungemia or sepsis) have also been reported in very sick or immunocompromised patients.
Is Sacharom Sachet safe for people with weak immunity?
No. Sacharom Sachet is not recommended for immunocompromised patients or those with central lines (catheters), because it can enter the bloodstream and cause infections.
What should I do if my diarrhea does not improve with Sacharom Sachet?
If your diarrhea continues for more than two days while taking Sacharom Sachet, consult your doctor. You may need further medical evaluation or additional treatment, especially if you are losing fluids quickly.
Does Sacharom Sachet replace rehydration therapy?
No. Sacharom Sachet does not replace rehydration. If you are losing a lot of fluids due to diarrhea, you must drink plenty of water and electrolyte solutions to stay hydrated, as advised by your doctor.
Can Sacharom Sachet cause allergic reactions?
Yes. Allergic reactions may happen in some people after taking Sacharom Sachet. Symptoms include skin rash, itching, hives, swelling, or difficulty breathing. Stop taking it and seek medical help immediately if these occur.
Why should Sacharom Sachet not be mixed with very hot or cold drinks?
Sacharom Sachet contains live yeast cells, which can be destroyed by very hot drinks (above 50°C), ice-cold drinks, or alcohol. To keep the probiotics effective, always mix them with room-temperature food or drinks.
