How Rozudoc F Tablet works

Rozudoc F 10 Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Fenofibrate and rosuvastatin. Fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood, while atorvastatin prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL). Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).

Taking alcohol with Rosuvastatin increases the chances of liver dysfunction.
Pregnancy
CAUTION
Rozudoc F 10 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Rozudoc F 10 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
SAFE
Rozudoc F 10 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Rozudoc F 10 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rozudoc F 10 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Rozudoc F 10 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver

Rozudoc F contains Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate. A very rare (1 in 10000 patient) side effect of this medicine is liver damage. Use of this medicine should be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. These symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or abnormal liver enzymes.
