Taking rosiglitazone with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes.
Taking metformin with alcohol may cause lactic acidosis and you may experience malaise, respiratory distress, slow or irregular heartbeat, somnolence, abdominal upset, or other unusual symptoms.
UNSAFE
Rosicon mf 4mg/500mg tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Uses

Rosiglitazone is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

How it works

Rosiglitazone restores body's ability to use insulin to lower blood sugar level. Also decreases amount of glucose absorbed from food in the intestine and decreases glucose production from liver.

Vomiting, Nausea, Back pain, Cardiac disorder, Cold symptoms, Nasal congestion, Fluid retention, Limb swelling, Headache, Loss of appetite, Running nose, Sore throat, Stomach pain

Metformin is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

  • Notify your doctor if you have liver disease. 
  • Notify your doctor if you have or ever had urinary bladder cancer.
  • Rosiglitazone does not help patients who have type 1 diabetes.
  • Type 2 diabetes can be controlled with a proper diet alone or a diet along with exercise. A planned diet and exercising are always important when you have diabetes, even when you are taking antidiabetic medicines. 
  • Notify your doctor if you had a heart failure in the past.
