Rextop 1% Gel

Rextop 1% Gel is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to use it. Do not stop using the medicine without first checking with your doctor. You should use it exactly as your doctor has advised.

The medicine is generally safe and does not usually cause any side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms on using the medicine, let your doctor know. There may be ways of preventing or reducing these effects.

Before using it, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Let your doctor also if you are taking or using any other medications. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. It can cause harm to your baby.

• Apply Rextop 1% Gel only to the affected area as directed and do not use on broken, irritated, or infected skin.
• Wash your hands before and after applying to prevent the medicine from spreading to other areas.
• Avoid sun exposure on the treated area and use sunscreen or cover it when outdoors.
• Do not cover the treated area with bandages or tight clothing unless your doctor says it is okay.
• Let your doctor know if you notice skin peeling, severe redness, or burning after Rextop 1% Gel use.
