It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Relibeta 30mg prefilled syringe at a fixed time.
Taking Interferon beta-1a with alcohol can cause liver problems.

Interferon Beta-1A(30 mg)

Uses

Relibeta 30mg prefilled syringe is used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis (ms), hairy cell leukemia, melanoma, follicular lymphoma, genital warts (skin bumps on or around the genital or anal area), soft tissue sarcoma (cancer of soft tissue), chronic hepatitis C and chronic hepatitis B.

How it works

Interferon Beta 1A belongs to a class of medicines called immunomodulators. It works by reducing nerve cell inflammation thereby relieving the symptoms.

Common side effects

Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Decreased blood cells (red cells, white cells, and platelets), Anemia, Joint pain, Confusion, Depression, Fever, Hair loss, Decreased level of thyroid hormones, Decreased white blood cell count, Loss of appetite, Feeling of discomfort, Muscle pain, Sinus tachycardia, Skin reaction, Skin redness, Swelling
