Pantosec LS Capsule SR can be taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. This medicine may cause dizziness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can worsen your dizziness. Lifestyle modifications like having cold milk and avoiding hot tea, coffee, spicy food, or chocolate can help you get better results.

Pantosec LS Capsule SR reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes and relieves the pain associated with heartburn and acid reflux. How Pantosec LS Capsule SR works

Levosulpiride is a prokinetic that works by increasing the release of acetylcholine (a chemical messenger). This increases the movement of the stomach and intestines and prevents reflux (acid going up to the food pipe). Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and ulcers.

  • Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea or stomach pain that does not go away.
  • Do not consume alcohol while taking Pantosec LS Capsule SR, as it can increase the risk of stomach damage.
  • Long-term use of Pantosec LS Capsule SR may cause weak or broken bones. Take an adequate intake of dietary calcium and vitamin D or their supplements. Do not take Pantosec LS Capsule SR for longer than prescribed.
