Pagenax Solution for Injection is administered as an injection into the affected eye. It is to be administered by a doctor or trained nurse; do not self-administer this medicine at home. The dose and frequency will be determined based on the patient’s specific condition. It is important to stick to the treatment schedule and follow the doctor's instructions for maximum results.

Common side effects of Pagenax Solution for Injection include eye pain, reduced visual acuity, blurred vision, floaters, retinal bleeding, and increased intraocular pressure (pressure inside the eye). If you experience any of these side effects which do not go away or get worse, consult with your doctor.

Pagenax Solution for Injection is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the components of this medicine. Additionally, it is important to inform the doctor if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or have undergone any surgery recently, especially those related to the eye, before starting the treatment with this medicine. You should also avoid using Pagenax Solution for Injection if there are signs of infection in the eye.

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a protein that promotes the growth of new blood vessels. In certain eye diseases, abnormal blood vessels start growing under the retina, leading to fluid leakage, bleeding, and damage to the central part of the retina called the macula. This can result in severe vision loss and distortion of central vision. Pagenax Solution for Injection blocks the activity of the VEGF protein. By inhibiting VEGF, the medication reduces the growth and leakage of abnormal blood vessels in the retina.
