Expert advice for Copper

  • Do not start or continue the copper and consult your doctor, if you are taking only zinc supplements as zinc in the absence of copper may decrease serum copper levels. 
  • Avoid using copper if you are suffering from Wilson’s Disease (a genetic disease of copper metabolism).
  • Do not take copper if you are allergic to copper or any other constituents of the drug.

  • Ensure that you do not consume more than 11 mg daily, as this may cause severe side effects.
  • Consult your doctor before giving manganese to children.
  • Exercise caution if you are an anemic (iron deficient) or if you have history of liver disorder.
