Otolin Ear Drop

Otolin Ear Drop is for external use only. Never use drops if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time. Wash your hands before using it. Follow the instructions given by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor.  Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.

The most common side effects of Otolin Ear Drop include irritation, a burning feeling, and a stinging sensation in the ear. These effects usually occur at the site of application and are generally mild and temporary. They often settle as the ear adjusts to the medicine. If the discomfort persists, worsens, or causes concern, a doctor should be consulted.

It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way it works but talk to your doctor before using it if you have used a similar medicine before and had an allergic reaction. This medicine should only be used if it is clearly needed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

• Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
• Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your ear, to avoid contamination.
• Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the medication.
