Otogem Ear Drop is for external use only. Never use drops if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time. Wash your hands before using it. Follow the instructions given by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor. Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.

The most common side effects of Otogem Ear Drop include irritation, a burning feeling, and a stinging sensation in the ear. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane. This treats your infection. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain to decrease the sensation of pain. This is how Otogem Ear Drop treats ear infections.
