Product introduction

Orthosun Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time.

Common side effects of this medicine include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, heartburn, indigestion, and urine discoloration. These side effects are well tolerated. However, if they worsen with time, please consult your doctor.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other health conditions. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advised to avoid intake of alcohol while taking this medicine.

Arthralgia is a condition with pain and stiffness in the joints. Orthosun Tablet is a combination medicine that helps in the treatment of arthralgia. It reduces pain and swelling in the joints. It also reduces stiffness and helps in easy movement. Orthosun Tablet if taken at the start of symptoms of arthralgia might repair any damaged joints. This will help you do your daily activities more easily and thus improve your quality of life. Orthosun Tablet should be taken at the same time each day to get maximum benefits. You should continue taking it until your doctor asks you to stop.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Orthosun Tablet

How Orthosun Tablet works

Orthosun Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Diacerein, Glucosamine Sulfate Potassium Chloride, Methyl Sulfonyl Methane and Methylcobalamin which relieve osteoarthritis symptoms. Diacerein and Glucosamine Sulfate Potassium Chloride are proteoglycan synthesis stimulators whereas Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) is a nutritional supplement. Together they help in building cartilage (soft tissue that cushions the joints) leading to joint repair. They also lower inflammation (swelling) of the joints. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which has pain relieving action.

  • You will be asked to monitor your blood glucose level while taking Orthosun Tablet.

  • Do light exercise or take physical therapy to strengthen muscles around the affected joint and manage your weight along with taking this medication.
